Work closely with team members to understand project requirements, data sources, and data quality issues Conduct data analysis, modeling, and forecasting Participate in data quality assurance and data governance activities Research and test new data analysis techniques, and share findings with the team The day-to-day As a Data Analyst, you will use tools to manipulate diverse real-world data and develop complex data visualizations; use data-driven metrics to create visibility into network utilization to mine data and solve problems. What you'll need Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Technology and/or related field Knowledge in Data Science Experience with creating Data Visualizations Data Wrangling Skills SQL skills Experience with Tableau Desktop Able to commit to a 10-12 week internship from June 2024 through September 2024 What will help you on the job Experience with other data manipulation platforms Salary range $21 - $66 / hourly At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
