Get to Know This Role The Network Administrator 3 performs technical work associated with supporting and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructure, server infrastructure, networking, and other related equipment. Reporting to the IS Manager, this position resolves brewery wide technical issues. The Network Administrator 3 works under minimal supervision and has subject matter expertise of the various hardware, software and networking systems being supported. This position may be based out of the Chico, CA or Mills River, NC brewery. What's In It For You We're committed to our employees and work hard to prove it. What You Will Do - Network Administrator 2 * Using discretion and independent judgement, analyze and resolve end-user issues and complex technical problems * Under intermittent supervision, will configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor system software running on networking equipment * Under intermittent supervision, will install, maintain and upgrade networking equipment * Respond to telephone or email inquiries and troubleshoot hardware and software problems; provide reliable and responsive service to internal customers; generate and address WO tickets as needed * Provide reliable and responsive service to internal customers * Recognize and escalate more difficult problems * Support users by providing technical assistance for hardware/software troubleshooting, including training; address and document all support activities, problems and resolutions * Write/maintain system documentation * Maintain accurate records of system licensing Network Administrator 2 Qualifications * Associate's Degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required or * any combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved * 2 years Network administration experience required and * Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems including Windows 10 - 11 * Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems including Windows 2012 - 2022 * Understand and diagnose network protocols, TCP-IP and network adapter functions in a Microsoft client/server environment * intermediate knowledge of and experience with major network protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VXLAN and VPC. * Data Center Networking Experience (Nexus, Routing + Switching) * Hands on experience on Cisco Switches/Routers/Firewalls (Industrial Ethernet, Catalyst 3700/3800, Nexus 5k and ASA) * Knowledge of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) * Knowledge of Cisco ACI multi-site * Knowledge of Cisco APIC OR APIC-EM Management * Knowledge of L4-7 integration in Cisco ACI * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals * Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited or nonexistent standardization exists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. * Investigate, identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently * Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing * Excellent organization and communication skills * Work effectively both independently and as part of a team * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * CompTIA Network+ upon hire preferred * CompTIA Security+ upon hire preferred * Comp TIA Project+ upon hire preferred * Information Technology\CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional upon hire preferred * Engineering - Development\VMware Certified Professional upon hire preferred * Microsoft: Azure Fundamentals upon hire preferred What You Will Do - Network Administrator 3 * Using discretion and independent judgement, will analyze and resolve end-user issues and complex technical problems * Under minimal supervision, will configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor system software running on networking equipment * Under minimal supervision, will install, maintain and upgrade networking equipment * Under minimal supervision, will Install, maintain and upgrade phone system components (Cisco Call Manager, Microsoft Teams) * Under minimal supervision, will install, maintain and upgrade video conferencing equipment (Cisco Telepresence, Microsoft Teams) * Respond to telephone or email inquiries and troubleshoot hardware and software problems; provide reliable and responsive service to internal customers; generate and address WO tickets as needed * Research and resolve end-user issues and complex technical problems * Provide reliable and responsive service to internal customers * Recognize and escalate more difficult problems * Support users by providing technical assistance for hardware/software troubleshooting, including training;
