About the Role:Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, the Manufacturing Production Manager will lead the manufacturing procurement and production planning activities for Firestorm core products. The Manufacturing Production Manager will plan and manage production purchases and manage incoming inventory. As our company grows, it is expected that the Manufacturing Production Manager role will grow to include managing various aspects related to logistics coordination and shipping / receiving. On-site: This role is on-site daily in the San Diego, CA office About you: * You are an experienced manufacturing professional who has worked in a similar role within a fast-paced startup * You have hands-on experience managing day-to-day manufacturing, production / resource planning, and inventory management * You are committed to quality and have a passion for exceeding expectations * You have experience buying parts for and reconciling controlled inventory * You are a team player and a joy to work with * You love developing and working within processes * You are a self-starter, capable of handling broad aspects of supply chain while the team grows to support additional needs Responsibilities: * Responsible for implementing and supporting released manufacturing processes and work instructions * Responsible for the device history record of Firestorm products, ensuring quality in data entry and workflow * Responsible for owning the purchasing process across all company purchases and administrating the systems / databases required to track and reconcile purchases * Manage and reconcile controlled and uncontrolled physical and electronic inventory * Negotiate terms related to delivery and cost with 3rd-party vendors * Plan and propose solutions for scaling various manufacturing operations and joint projects with 3rd parties * Create and monitor purchase orders through payment * Own and manage all shipping and receiving Skills and Experience Required: * Bachelor's Degree (engineering, business, accounting, and project management coursework) or equivalent experience * Minimum 2 (3+ years preferred) years leading manufacturing planning activities * Experience sourcing components used in electro-mechanical products * Ability to maintain productive working relationships with suppliers Bonus Skills / Experience: * PMP certification and current status Other Requirements * Ability to lift 30 lbs * Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance * Ability to understand and adhere to local labor laws and firestorm employment policies US Citizen is required to obtain security clearance Salary Range: $100,000 to $160,000 PI248558800
