      What You Will Be Doing:

      \n

      (Safety/Quality Coordinator)

      \n

      \n

      Safety:

      \n
        \nImplements Safety Policy & Procedure in compliance with all Federal, State and OSHA rules & regulations.\nWill enforce & uphold all safe work practices and policies, performing safety meeting and modeling behaviors.\nInspects Plant facilities for existing or potential accident and health Hazards and determines corrective or preventative measures where needed.\nResponsible for implementing safety plans.\nPerforms New Hire Safety Orientations and other safety training and maintains appropriate records\nAssists with risk assessments and site inspections. Coordinates yearly OSHA audits with state and corporate partners\nWorks with management and maintenance to ensure equipment is installed correctly/safely as well as assists with ensuring maintenance of equipment is up to date and scheduled accordingly\nFormulates and suggests work safety standards\n\n

        Quality:

        \n
          \nEnsure compliance with an internal quality control and process improvement system.\nEffectively communicative internally and externally on any customer quality issues that may arise\nInvestigate problems and assist in the development of error proofing. Define, analyze, and implement process changes, which are permanent.\nContribute to problem solving and correction action plans\nEnsure leadership is focusing and improving quality in the correct department\nInspects product as needed to ensure quality standards are met \n\n

          Skills You Bring:

          \n
            \n2+ years' experience in quality / safety\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.\nProficient computer skills & use of Microsoft Office.\nMust be able to multi-task, organized, efficient, and accurate.\nMust be able to lift up to 75 pounds\nMust be able to perform the duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\n
