This position will be based in our corporate headquarter in Fairfield, Ohio. This intern will work in the innovation analytics team with a focus on machine learning and modeling preparation. Starting Pay: $33.00/hr based on previous education and experience Learn more about our company and develop your professional skills by: * Working closely with various business teams depending on changing needs * Learning the business and pain points from domain experts * Utilizing analytics thinking and skills to identify possible solutions * Developing prototypes together with business and IT that can make an impact to the business * Massaging and understand the data * Designing and building deep learning and computer vision models * Evaluating the model performance and develop practical cost benefit analysis Be equipped with/to: * passion for numbers and quantitative analysis * knowledge and experience in deep learning and computer vision * strong Python skills and good coding habits * patience and an attention to detail * curiosity about data and business impact * strong problem-solving skills and a forward-looking mindset * excellent communication and interpersonal skills Requirements: * enrolled in a graduate (PhD-level) program at an accredited college/university * major in data science, computer science, or related fields * collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable) * in good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred) * must be able to work an average of 10 or more hours per week for at least 12 weeks. * proficient in Microsoft Office tools and related software Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
