Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour W2 * High level of proficiency in developing wiring, diagnostic and technical writing projects in multiple authoring environments based on the level of equity assigned. * Participates in meetings with clients and co-workers. * Develops technical information using client supplied resources, such subject matter experts, product teardowns and engineering schematics. * Advises Operations and Sales Support Manager of project status and potential issues. * Completes various additional assignments as directed by client and or customer. * Work directly with customer contacts to guide them through problem resolution. * Misc. tasks and associated responsibilities as requested. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or GED required with an associate degree in automotive technologies or equivalent is preferred. * Minimum of 12 months of experience working with an automotive OEM department servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles * Must have knowledge of automotive parts. * ASE certifications preferred. * Ability to describe mechanical data. * Ability to describe modern automotive systems. * Ability to prioritize workload and meet due dates in addition to handling multiple tasks while changing priorities. * Intermediate personal computer proficiency - able to use Windows Explorer, MS Office Suite, and the Internet * Ability to work independently. * Ability to work as a team member towards common goals. * Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. * Ability to troubleshoot while leveraging various resources including but not limited to knowledge gained, team members and overall problem-solving abilities to provide solutions. * Ability to research information, interpret it and use it to problem solve. * Knowledge of most conventional automotive techniques including equipment, terminology, and automotive technology * Must be detailed oriented, and methodical with follow up. PREFERRED * Experience with Toyota automotive parts and Toyota processes. * Experience with communicating with various departments within Toyota. * Proficiency with Software Applications such as PRS and TQNET * Writing experience.
