Job Description The Technical Project Lead is a professional who can anticipate, negotiate, and resolve problems, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts in a technical implementation project. The Technical Project Lead is a sound communicator with a good understanding of the technical underpinnings of the project who can link scrum masters and development teams to technology solutions managers and business units to ensure high quality and timeliness in project implementations. They are skilled in applying agile project management techniques to deliver highly technical projects. Responsibilities: * Drive project through its various implementation phases from kick-off through deployment. This includes activities such as creation of statement of work, an implementation project plan, QA plan, running status and coordination meetings and communicating status and escalations across the entire project team. * Facilitate work completion, practice servant leadership, and encourage discussion, quick decision making and conflict resolution. * Support and mentor/coach junior technical project managers in support of complex project completion and professional growth. * Oversee and delegate assignments, report on risks, issues, and accomplishments. * Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. * Train, mentor, and support scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices. * Assist in team development through holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, and leveraging cross-functional team skills to improve product backlog throughput. * Understand the underlying technologies and be able to talk to both solution architects, solution managers, and developers. * Act as an escalation path for implementation projects to reset and clarify expectations. * Provide oversight and management of work backlogs, the prioritization process and work scheduling and monitoring. Qualification Basic Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years of experience as Technical Project Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master or similar role * Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex software development projects and/or enterprise systems implementations. * Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile practices * Minimum of 3 years of experience using project management applications (such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Microsoft 365, etc) Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field * PMP or PMI-ACP * Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) * Certified SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Agilist * Development or managerial experience Professional Skills Requirements: * Ability to serve multiple teams while managing large teams of developers, QAs, BAs, and Vendors * Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, competitive advantage, and bottom-line gains through effective technical project management and clear communication * Fluent in the practical application of common agile project management concepts (burn down charts, story pointing, scrum ceremonies etc.) including creating supporting documentation and processes * Diligent project manager offering a proven record of success planning and leading all phases of diverse technology projects * Proven experience in creating detailed project plans, including overall budget allocations, schedule roll-ups of all projects, critical path, and risk assessment and ensuring teams execute to plan. * Expert knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
