Job Description Nevada State University invites applications for the position of 1000-Hour Appointment - Psychological Assistant for the School of Education, Psychoeducational Mental Health Clinic. The 1000-hour appointment will allow for a psychological assistant to conduct assessments and assist with report writing to support the Lead Supervising Psychologist. Core Responsibilities: * Conduct and report on psychoeducational evaluations. * Collaborate with other clinic staff on evaluation procedures. * Assist with scheduling evaluations as needed. * Support Clinic operations and management. * Support relevant policies and procedures. * Support training of school psychology graduate students. * Maintain confidential client records and ensure compliance with human subjects guidelines, HIPPA, and FERPA. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in related field. * Training in administering standardized individual psychoeducational assessments. * Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas). Preferred Qualifications: * Experience administering standardized psychoeducational assessments. * Training in Ethics. Work Hours: This position will be asked to work 20-40 hours per week with a heavier work load (40 hours) in the summer. Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour.
