Position Overview This position will provide entry level support to the Green Bay Packaging IT department and its user community. Candidate will provide technical support for company-issued computers, peripherals (keyboard, mouse, monitor, docking station and printers), desktop software (Microsoft Office suite) and network connectivity. Candidate may also assist with network engineering, network maintenance, and maintaining desktop security. Works closely with the Corporate IT department to ensure standards are maintained. Responsibilities * Perform service desk (help desk) functions including call answering * Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software incidents * Respond to incident and service requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically * Install software/hardware * Clean, modify, diagnose and repair computer hardware including monitors, keyboard/Mouse and printers * Follow standard service desk procedures * Manage servers - Including user access and management * Setting up new user hardware and physical spaces * Management of different server systems (i.e. VoIP systems, Microsoft servers) * Track and route incidents and document resolutions * Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention * Work closely with others to complete a task * Redirect problems to appropriate resource * Learn to become a liaison between IT professionals and end user * System documentation * Other duties as assigned Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING IS BENEFICIAL: * Hyper-V * File Servers * Microsoft SCCM * Cisco Unified CM Administration (VoIP) * Cisco Unity Administration (VoIP VM) * Remote Desktop Support * Office 365 Products and Administration * Ivanti Service Ticketing * Office Network Printers (MFDs) * Cisco AnyConnect VPN * Teleconferencing (Teams, Zoom or Webex) * Operating Systems (Windows 11, MacOS, iOS, Android or Linux) * Genetec Keycard System * Server Room General Knowledge * Android/iOS deployment * CompTIA A+ certification * Strong technical aptitude * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills * Superior customer service skills * Set up hardware neatly * Experience in a production/manufacturing environment Compensation & Benefits This position is a paid internship for a college student currently working towards a degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Management or another related field. Division Description The Kalamazoo Division is a full service, BRCGS certified corrugated facility with an ISTA test lab on site. We manufacture a wide variety of corrugated products from point of purchase graphic displays, to any size corrugated shipping container.
