Summer 2025 Frontier Cooperative Software Development Internship Frontier Cooperative is an agriculture leader in Nebraska providing grain, agronomy, feed and energy products and services to our customers. At Frontier, we have a long-standing tradition of successful partnerships with our customers by managing our business with the highest integrity and quality while being responsible stewards in our communities. Essential duties: * Contribute to a software project comprised of various internal tools for Frontier employees. * Create and update front-end Vue/Vuetify components. * Develop and maintain API endpoints in Node.js/Express. * Use Copilot to review and suggest improvements to the existing codebase. * Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions. * Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues. * Learn about the agricultural industry and how cooperatives operate. * Engage with various departments to understand their software needs and provide Job skills and requirements: * Javascript (required) * Vue (strongly preferred) * Vuetify (optional) * Node.js (required) * Express (strongly preferred) * Able to create Git pull requests (strongly preferred) * Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Interest in agriculture and willingness to learn about the industry.
