OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is seeking an AVP, Investor Relations & Business Development, to join our Sales team. This role will engage directly with business leaders and external stakeholders on products, virtual investor conferences, and relationship management. Please note OTC Markets is currently operating in a hybrid work environment (three days in office, two days remotely). This position is located in our NYC office. Base compensation for this role is up to $100,000, depending on experience plus quarterly commissions. This role also qualifies for stock options upon hire and discretionary annual restricted stock awards. What you'll do: * Manage and coordinate administration/operation leading up to and following Virtual Investor Conferences (VIC) * Drive sales to Corporate Services clients, NYSE and NASDAQ issuers to sell VIC presentation packages * Plan, coordinate and interact with Client Relations and Sales teams to ensure that all companies are aware of relevant VIC opportunities * Call on and develop relationships with new partners to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations * Work with our marketing department to maximize and ensure timely promotion of all conference materials * Frequently collaborate across internal departments including but not limited to accounting and legal * Product management of 1x1 meeting scheduling functionality in VIC platform * Act as point of contact for new and existing vendors to build and troubleshoot VIC add-ons and capabilities * Support VIC clients in onboarding and post conference communication * Ability to work across all time zones * Additional duties, as assigned What we're looking for: * Bachelor's degree highly preferred * At least 4 years of prior revenue generating sales experience * Willing to work collaboratively in an open office setting with a small, close-knit team * Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives * Ability to conduct research, fact finding and analysis of publicly traded companies to determine applicability for VIC events * Self-motivated, fast-learner, and able to work well with a team and individually * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels both within and outside the organization.
