JOB SUMMARY Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Spokane, WA Litigation Practice. Qualified candidates have at least three years of complex commercial and/or employment litigation experience. Experience in copyright and/or trademark litigation is beneficial, but not required. This dynamic role affords the opportunity to work in Kutak Rock's expanding regional and national litigation practice. QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to be strategic and analytical * Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills * Ability to address sophisticated legal issues in complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and appeals * Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to help shape and expand a growing practice * Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment * Ability to be mentored and taught remotely by attorneys in other offices * Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience * Law Degree (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school required * Preference will be given to those with strong academic credentials, a judicial clerkship, or law review experience * Currently admitted to practice in Washington State with an active bar license in good standing required * Minimum three years of experience in complex commercial and/or employment litigation with courtroom and trial experience required * Preference given to those with copyright and/or trademark litigation experience Position Information Salary Range: $125,000-$165,000 per year (commensurate with experience) Status: Exempt Work Location: Hybrid 3:2 or Remote (Based on chosen candidate location and ability to travel) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Dependent Life, Disability, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.
