How This Role impacts Live Oak: The Financial Analyst - Intern role will engage closely with the entire Business Analyst Group. You will support each Business and Financial Analyst in several objectives they work through each quarter. You will be consulting with the team daily and working through financial statement analysis, to have a better understanding of bank risk, while aligning with the Credit Analyst and Business Analyst Team in several objectives they work on through each day. You will have an opportunity to travel and perform other customer service functions. Both the Financial and Business Analyst role are vital to the health and overall performance of the existing Live Oak Bank loan portfolio. What You'll Do at Live Oak: * Analyze financial statements from several different industries. As part of the financial statement work you will create a narrative around each customer detailing the positives and negatives of each situation. * Work closely with many different Financial Analysts completing day to day functions of the role such as financial reporting, global analysis, and prism documentation. * Work with other departments throughout the bank handling customer requests. The base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.25 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate's salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise. Please note that we provide at least the minimum requirement of paid sick leave to our employees who reside in states that require employer-paid sick leave, including but not limited to Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
