Job Overview Job Description: POSITION: Lead Member of Technical Staff JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] Lead Member of Technical Staff needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to develop and certify Layer 1-4 technologies on multiple vendor hardware and software platforms based on customized or generic design. Identify and define software and hardware problems and develop viable solutions and alternatives. Use system utilities and automation to effectively resolve hardware and software problems. Work closely with Hardware and Software vendor(s) to identify and fix bugs and perform detail root cause analysis and bug validation in certification lab environment. Provide ongoing support to operation partners in case of production issue. Collaborate with Operations to replicate the issue in lab and get involved and work with vendor to get the fix for production issue. Work on designing, certification, and identifying the issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issues. Work on installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, administering, monitoring, and maintaining various network operating systems, associated software, virtual management systems, servers, networking, clustering, storage, and software applications for Architectures supporting a variety of virtualization technologies. Apply IP Routing Protocols Subject Matter expertise including MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, BGP-LU, BGP-UC, EVPN, Static, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP, Multicast, Vlan, RIP, FIB, L2/L3-VPNs, SNMP, and Telemetry. Utilize Networking Technologies including TCP/UDP, VxLAN, VPCs, NAT, DNS, QoS, CoS, BGP FlowSpec, VRFs, TACACS, BFD, Security, Netflow, TWAMP, Route-reflectors, Route groups, Hub, and Spoke. Utilize Virtualized Network functions Technologies including VNFs, KVM, and VMware. Utilize containerization platforms including OpenStack, Heat templates, Docker, and Kubernetes. Apply experience in lab environments predominately Linux based. Apply Multivendor Platforms Expertise including Cisco IOS and IOS-XR platforms, Juniper NOS. and Drivenets NOS. Apply Scripting experience using Python/Shell/TCL/Perl/Selenium automation. Work experience in configuring IXIA, Spirent test equipment's. Design, test, and implement multi-level Network platform technology systems.
