Job Description: We are seeking a Temporary IT Field Technician to join our IT department in Schaumburg, IL. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to our employees, resolve technical issues, and assist with IT projects as needed. This temporary assignment is expected to last a minimum of 12 weeks / 3 months. Responsibilities: * Respond to IT support tickets and provide technical assistance to employees * Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software * Set up and maintain computer networks, including routers, switches, and access points * Perform system upgrades and updates * Assist with IT projects, such as hardware refreshes and software deployments * Maintain IT inventory and ensure all equipment is accounted for * Adhere to IT policies and procedures Requirements: * Previous experience in IT support or a related field * Knowledge of computer hardware and software * Familiarity with networking concepts * Excellent troubleshooting skills * Strong communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Education and Certifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred
