Responsibilities Assist in directing services, workflow and resources for assigned long-term care nursing area. * Assist in developing, organizing and implementing clinical services and programs. * Communicate policies, expected outcomes, work routines, and work procedures to clinical staff * Assist with implementation and evaluation of quality of care including ongoing auditing of quality indicators. * Assist in monitoring nursing budgets. * Assist with admissions, discharges and transfer to ensure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations. * Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. * BLS Provider preferred. Education: * Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Work Experience: * 5 years of experience required. * 10 years of experience preferred. * 2 years of leadership or management experience required. * 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
