The Center for Student Transition, Access, & Retention Services (STARS) aims to provide direct programming and services focused on advocacy and support to strengthen belonging and the success of first-generation, Pell-eligible, and geographically diverse students throughout their entire experience at UMW. The STARS center offers students community, personal enrichment, and vocational preparation to be competitive in career and continuing education opportunities post-UMW. The STARS center is currently seeking FOUR (4) hardworking, organized, and self-sufficient individuals for the 'Student Aide' position. As a student aide, you will provide essential support to the STARS administrative team, contributing to the smooth operation of the office and providing hands-on support with the implementation of programming. This position offers a great opportunity to develop professional skills while balancing your personal academic responsibilities. Interviews for the student aide position will occur between Monday, September 16th- Friday, September 27th with appointed individuals to start as soon as possible.
