As we continue our global expansion, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Marketing Communications Manager - Content Writer to our team. The Marketing Communications Manager - Content Writer is responsible for producing all written marketing communications, in a variety of mediums, in order to project a professional and positive image of the company and its products. This person will be the point for all digital and print content: website, social media, email campaigns, case studies, literature, advertising (strategy and execution) and the company's Annual Report. Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field * 6 or more years of related experience in marketing communications preferably within a B2B and/or an industrial company Computer Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products * Experience accessing and posting on social media channels on both mobile and desktop devices Communication Skills: * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong interpersonal relationship skills, with the ability to work effectively with and gain cooperation from the wide variety of internal and external contacts Work Environment: * Corporate office environment (HQ in Milwaukee's Third Ward), with occasional travel. Primary office in Milwaukee, WI, ancillary office in Racine, WI * Flexibility to work from home 20% of the time Specialized Knowledge: * Comprehensive working knowledge of marketing principles and methods * Familiarization of B-2-B markets * General understanding of the types of applications where Twin Disc products are used Other Requirements: * Strong project management and workplan development skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines * Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills * Experience in successful utilization of social media * Experience with trade show planning and logistics * Ability to work independently and be self-directed * Occasional travel which may require a passport Essential Job Functions 1. Maintains brand identity, creates strategies and core messaging. 2. Creates and manages a master content grid to capture all the written communication needs. 3. Serves as the Editor in Chief for all content. 4. Creates and manages an editorial calendar/content grid (messages, by audience, by channel, by time). 5. Produces written content for all MarCom including Website / digital, social media, eBlasts, public relations, advertising, and literature. 6. Works with Digital Marketing Manager to create engaging online content including webinars, social media posts, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs. 7. Researches and writes articles, project references/case studies, and presentation. 8. Administers master media outlet & editor contact list. 9. Creates press release for product and corporate news. 10. Researches and recommends new avenues for promoting products and enhancing company image. 11. Creates, produces, and places brand and product ads. 12. Updates existing and creates new brochures and bulletins. 13. Participates in new product development (Stage Gate) to create a Product Launch Plan. 14. Executes the integrated marketing mix. 15. Develops content and oversees the production of the Annual Report Other Job Functions 1. Assist with tradeshow planning and related activities: space reservations, booth design, displays, SWAG, sponsorship, registration, lodging, attendee packets, literature, and speaking opportunities. 2. Liaison with Distributors for co-operative advertising & promotion. 3. Creates ads and content for community sponsorships. 4. Assists with annual strategy planning & budgeting process.
