Job Overview Provide Information Technology Management services in support of modernization efforts for multiple programs at NIWC Atlantic (Charleston, SC) and Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA). This is a on-call part-time position. Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Provide day-to-day IT operations support to include maintenance,troubleshooting, and supporting end-users at Charleston and Boston Locations. Provide audio/visual media support to include mounting and maintenance. Providing Windows hardware and software support. Support the development of system security documentation on both new and previously deployed capabilities. Help to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems by identifying risks and working with the appropriate stakeholders to implement a response. Providing corrective action plans, identification, and resolution of service outages in accordance with problem severity and priority. Maintaining full suite of collaboration audio/visual media equipment to ensure all meetings run properly. Work with IT manager to provide the necessary components to successfully operate the network topology and manage the equipment in a secure manner that abides by the Authority-To-Operate (ATO). Job Requirements Mandatory: Five (5) years of IT support experience in network, desktop, and server hardware Proven work experience as a network administrator or technician. Strong working knowledge of access, administration, application server, archival, and configuration management software. Occasional travel may be necessary at customer request.
