Job Summary/Description: WAVE is looking for its next evening anchor. This person must have a presence that breaks through the noise and grabs the viewer's attention. They must be a dynamic communicator who can handle a wide range of stories, but particularly thrives in breaking news, unscripted situations, and live reporting in the field. They will also be part of WAVE's award winning Troubleshooters investigative unit. Our next anchor will have a demonstrated track record of breaking investigative stories that have had impact, and made a real difference in their community. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent news judgment. Ideal candidate must be a self-starter, an excellent and clear communicator, and a team player.
