Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: The Senior Executive Recruiter is aligned to the most senior and executive roles in the enterprise and serves as a trusted advisor to members of the C-Suite. The role is responsible for excellent execution of sophisticated talent acquisition strategies for sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing both internal and external candidates to fill Truist Executive-level positions across the Enterprise. The incumbent ensures impeccable delivery of the Enterprise Executive Search experience by fostering trust and confidence in the Truist brand and teammate value proposition. The Senior Executive Recruiter brings a refined level of discretion, high-touch and responsive service, agile dexterity in negotiating complex and multi-layered employment offers, contemporary knowledge of the talent marketplace and related talent availability trends and can represent Truist to highly sought-after and sophisticated talent in play. The incumbent has deep expertise in the executive search space while executing on recruiting deliverables that include presenting qualified talent slates supported by market research, driving Truist DEI objectives, and curating an ecosystem of stakeholders to assess against Truist executive leadership competencies, achievement potential, motivators, and Truist Purpose, Mission and Values. This subject matter expert has highly trusted and effective relationships with key stakeholders and relevant COEs to include Total Rewards, Talent and Legal to ensure strong execution and delivery of executive recruitment deliverables. Candidate must have ability to work in the office 4 days a week* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Possess an advanced understanding of contemporary recruiting techniques and utilizes, as needed, the relationships and services of contingent and retained recruiting firms and other vendors to meet business needs. 2. Consult with and make recommendations to hiring managers on use of agencies and take lead in managing relationships and negotiating terms with external recruiting firms. 3. Aligned to multiple Lines of Business and maintains credible and trusted relationships with the organization's most senior leaders and executives. 4. Maintain deep and contemporary working knowledge of Enterprise and Business Line initiatives, priorities and talent needs. 5. Lead complex hiring efforts and deliverables within Enterprise Executive Search and contribute to strategic planning related to broader team deliverables. 6. Develop and maintain excellent internal and external relationships, including those with key contacts throughout the financial services industry, to attain market expertise, predictable external client results, and ongoing credibility. 7. Support Truist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts by developing and executing on recruiting strategies and partnering with business leaders on the Affirmative Action program. Leverage external networks, professional organizations, non-traditional talent pools, available tools or resources, and market demographics to identify and pipeline a broad range of diverse external talent. 8. Expertise in sourcing strategies including market mapping of talent from relevant industries and organizations. 9. Provide a pristine candidate experience for potential senior leaders of Truist. Includes managing a highly professional experience beginning with the initial engagement, the interview/assessment process, and through either to offers, declines and alumni relationships. 10. Build relationships and work with internal stake holders (Total Rewards, HCEP, Legal and EL) to build and obtain approval for the most equitable and competitive offer while aligning with budget and compensation policies. 11. Develop, negotiate, and close the most complex offer terms with detailed knowledge of executive compensation components, and legal negotiations. 12. Lead Executive Search projects and takes lead role in managing the team execution in delivering an experience that is distinct to Enterprise Executive Search. 13. Serve as coach and mentor for teammates with less experience within the recruiting job family. 14. Capability to work in a fast paced, complex environment with executive-level written and verbal communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. A minimum of 9 years of professional experience including relevant senior or executive search experience with demonstrated success in managing a full-cycle search process; or 7 years HR experience, to include interaction at the executive level that includes broad talent management and/or talent acquisition experience. 2. A minimum of 5 years of Executive Recruiting experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience and/or education and training. 3. Ability to articulate the Truist Teammate Value Proposition, Purpose/Mission/Values, and strategic competitive advantages. 4. Strong recruiting compliance knowledge and understanding, business acumen and organizational savvy necessary to understand and anticipate future business and talent needs. 5. Ability to think critically, conceptually, and strategically while maintaining a results-driven approach. 6. Ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. 7. Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills. 8. Consistent delivery of crisp, poised, and trusted executive presence fostering credibility and confidence. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience in risk/audit/finance functions area 2. Experience working in the financial services industry 3. Professional certification in HR related discipline (PHR, SPHR, CIR, CDR, etc) 4. Previous experience working in recruiting in an OFCCP-regulated industry 5. Expert at using databases and internet mining techniques to surface candidates 6. Passive candidate sourcing and building talent pools and communities 7. Strong business consulting skills General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
