The primary functions of the Fire & Life Safety Manage include fire prevention, fire investigation, public education, coordination with local and state agencies, recordkeeping of fires and technical assistance to the fire department. Minimum Qualifications Company Officer Inspector Oregon Fire Inspector 1 within 1 year of hire date NFPA Fire Investigator within 2 years of hire date Preferred Qualifications NFPA Firefighter 1 or 2 EMT NWCG Strike Team Task Force Leader Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED required.
