Oversee multiple yards at various locations * Provide leadership and work with staff to develop and retain highly competent, customer service-oriented staff through selection, training, and day-to-day management * Participate in the preparation and administration of the assigned budget; submit budget recommendations; prepare and submit requisitions for supplies and materials; and monitor expenditures * Plan, manage, and evaluate staff performance; establish performance requirements and personal development targets for assigned staff; regularly monitor performance and provide coaching for performance improvement and development; take disciplinary action to address performance deficiencies in coordination with Human Resources * Plan, organize, control, integrate, and evaluate the work of the Division staff * Develop, implement, and monitor short and long-term plans, goals, and objectives focused on achieving the department's priorities * Personally respond to inquiries and complaints from the public and user departments; attend meetings with other departments, agencies, and organizations.
