GAME WARDEN CAPTAIN
(PUBLIC SERVICE MANAGER I)

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a full-time position that is supervisory and investigative in nature. The primary functions and duties of the position will include but are not limited to: conducting and managing assigned personnel and performance related investigations; supervision and oversight of all aspects of the Maine Warden Service training program, oversight of the whitewater boating enforcement program, managing FOAA requests, Maine Warden Service Policy development, and oversight of the Department's landowner relations program.
Special Requirement: The successful applicant must reside within 50 air miles of Augusta HQ
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Six years' experience in the Bureau of Warden Service. Applicants must have one year of supervisory / management experience or 2 years' experience as Maine Warden Service Specialist (Corporal or Investigator). Supervisory experience is not limited to employment in the Warden Service.
