The Training and Development Coordinator at Terrible's plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our workforce. This position is responsible for assisting in facilitating new hire orientation, maintaining learning management systems, and designing effective job aids and manuals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for continuous learning and development. Key Responsibilities: New Hire Orientation and Training Facilitation: * Coordinate and facilitate weekly new hire orientation sessions. * Prepare and set up training rooms, including arranging necessary equipment and materials. * Order, print, and manage training materials ensuring they are up-to-date and readily available. * Manage enrollment and attendance tracking for all training sessions. Learning Management System Administration: * Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS). * Enroll new learners into appropriate training programs within the LMS. * Remove terminated employees from the LMS to keep records current. * Generate reports to track participation and effectiveness of training programs. Training Material Development: * Design and create job aids, manuals, and other training materials using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar graphic design software. * Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content. * Continuously update and improve training materials based on feedback and evolving company needs. General Learning and Development Support: * Assist in the planning and execution of various training and development initiatives. * Stay informed of the latest trends in training and development to bring innovative ideas to the role. * Learning authoring tool experience is a plus for creating engaging and interactive online courses. Qualifications: * Proficiency in MS Office and experience with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite. * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. * Experience with learning authoring tools is desirable but not essential.
