Non-Certified Swim Instructor - $16.25 - $20.67 per hour WSI Certified Swim Instructor - $16.75 - $20.67 per hour * FREE* Training for qualified candidates! No experience necessary but a general knowledge of basic swim strokes is a plus. * We offer reimbursement of course fees (if WSI Certification is obtained through SSPRD, excluding the $40 certification fee) after completing 3 full sessions of instruction. Non-Certified Swim Instructors will be provided free initial training. Must be able to instruct 2 evenings classes a week and/or Saturday mornings. Additional hours are available once qualified and approved to teach private lessons at a starting rate of $17.00 per hour for Non-Certified Swim Instructors and $19.85 per hour for WSI Certified Swim Instructors. The ideal candidate must maintain knowledge and understanding of all swimming strokes and skills, as well as knowledge of American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim levels. We are currently looking for shifts ranging from morning to evening hours and weekends. Our Ideal Candidate * Will have previous experience teaching swim lessons. * Possess American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification. * Will possess knowledge and understanding of all swimming strokes and skills, as well as knowledge of America Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels. * Has the ability to swim to safety with a full-grown adult and remain calm in emergencies. * Will be able to communicate effectively with the public and other team members. * Can work independently. * Can follow and enforce all pool standards and rules. * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts. Minimum Qualifications * Must be fifteen (15) years of age at the time of application. * Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid.
