Return to Job Search Leasing Accounting Assistant Amerco Real Estate Company is seeking a full-time Leasing Accounting Assistant. This is a mid-level position with the great opportunity of joining a creative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work alongside the leasing team regarding all factors of lease filing, accounting, and tenant interactions. You will be directly under the supervision of the Leasing Accounting Manager and the management team, which includes the President of Amerco Real Estate Company. Please note this is an in-person position Monday through Friday in Midtown Phoenix. Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Assist in the upkeep of our property management software (Yardi Voyager) - File, update, and maintain company electronic records (i.e. leases, contracts, COIs, etc.) * Process and account for Tenant Payables (i.e. rent, etc.) * Process and account for Lease Property Expenses (i.e. CAM fees, etc.) * Participate in tenant interactions daily * Draft and email lease accounting-related correspondence (i.e. Notices to Lessees, etc.) * Assist in conducting Recovery Reconciliation * Assist with administrative/ad hoc tasks as assigned Qualified candidates will possess: * Bachelor's degree in accounting (or at least 4 years of work experience in accounting) * A high level of professionalism and integrity * The ability to work both independently and a part of a team - take initiative and direction * Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and great customer service skills * The ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in fast-paced environment - be detail oriented and organized Required Skills: * Knowledgeable in our property management software (Yardi Voyager), lease administration, basic property management bookkeeping, and CAM reconciliations. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Business Writing - prepare professional letters, reports, and other various documents.
