Technical Expertise: - Possess a deep understanding of the technical aspects and requirements of each program. - Ability to dig into the details and perform requirements gathering along side team members as required - Willingness and ability to provide technical direction and support to project team members, including support and oversight on UAT activities Product Ownership: - Lead and manage the build out and delivery of the Product Backlog ensuring that BA's are progressing discovery tasks and raising Jira stories - Ensuring technical requirements are captured accurately and once build should deliver expected business outcomes - Defining the priority of work to be delivered across BA's and Scrum teams based on input received from Business stakeholders and Capability Owner. - Produces Project onboarding material and onboards new resources explaining the scope of the project, data sources, access, stakeholders, requirements gathering and MDDs etc - Adeptly removes blockers or impediments preventing progress of the team - Management of the key Jira features i.e. Versioning, Epics, Labels etc. Project Planning and Execution: - Develop and execute comprehensive integrated project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones. - Active engagement with Data Asset teams to ensure that upstream Assets are being scoped and built on time such that downstream semantic work will not be impacted. - Identify opportunities to fast track project delivery to meet deadlines and commitments - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document project requirements, constraints, and risks. * Allocate resources effectively and monitor resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards. * Conduct regular project status meetings, provide progress reports, and escalate issues as necessary. Team Management: * Lead and manage a cross-functional team of technical professionals, assigning tasks, and providing direction. * Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to motivate team members and drive high performance. * Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance or behavioral issues. * Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments. Stakeholder Management: * Engage and collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, executives, and other relevant parties. * Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project progress, risks, and changes. * Address stakeholder concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner. * Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success and future opportunities. Risk and Issue Management: * Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Ability to implement mitigation strategies and work autonomously towards resolutions without having to wait on Leadership direct unless absolutely necessary - Monitor project progress, proactively identify and resolve issues, and escalate critical matters to higher management when necessary. * Implement a change management process to handle project scope changes and minimize their impact on project timelines and resources. Documentation and Reporting: * Ensure the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, status reports, and other relevant records. * Prepare and present regular project status updates, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and senior management. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience. * 6-10 years of Proven experience in managing complex technical projects or programs. * Strong technical background and understanding of relevant technologies and methodologies (ie Agile, waterfall) * Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
