Overview MSA has an opportunity for an entry level Graduate Engineer - Structural at our Madison, WI office. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve. Project types include parks and recreation structures, municipal buildings, water and wastewater structures, and retaining walls. Responsibilities The work you will do * Perform structural engineering design of steel, masonry, concrete, and wood structures * Perform design calculations and assemble calculation packages * Revit modeling of structural drawings * Coordinate designs with other disciplines * Site Visits of existing facilities and projects under construction * Review shop drawings and submittal review Qualifications What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering required * Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is a plus * Internship experience in structural or architectural field required * Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply * Experience with structural design software required; eg. RAM Elements * Outstanding communication skills, ability to multi-task, and detail oriented * This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
