Working directly under the Hotel Manager at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking an influential Director of Food and Beverage who has strong experience leading world class operations with a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality. * This role will be a part of the executive committee management team which will also oversee the Spa * Work for an award-winning luxury hotel group with an exceptional benefits package * Learn and grow within a diverse multi-outlet property Key Accountabilities * Responsible for organizing and developing the overall strategy for operations relating to both Food and Beverage and Spa in accordance with The Peninsula standards and hotel guidelines. * Develop and contribute to strategic planning with particular focus on managing, influencing, and executing key initiatives and stakeholders * Liaise extensively with various departments to coordinate branding and sales initiatives for Food and Beverage to drive awareness, collaborations, and cross promotions. * An ability to create, read, and comprehend detailed financial reports, banquet event orders, work instructions, memos, and a variety of correspondence. * Must possess outstanding service skills to deliver an experience, product, and quality of service meeting Peninsula standards. * A detailed understanding of financial cost controls and what it takes to both figure and control the many costs related to the division. * To lead a team of professionals from diverse backgrounds and departments to deliver a product and service second to none while following a vision of continued growth and progress to be an innovative leader in our field. * Plan and lead product and service enhancement ideas to drive the Food and Beverage offerings to the next level and to be a champion within the industry. * Prepare annual recommendations for capital improvements and be able to influence finance and other stakeholders * Develop an operating budget for each of the department's revenue outlets. Ensure corrective action and strategies are implemented as needed to ensure budgetary goals are attained. * Will oversee the Food and Beverage staff, Food and Beverage management, and Hotel operational staff including Spa Director. General Requirements * Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years in a similar position at a luxury hotel or large hospitality group. * 10 years of experience in a leadership role with a strong inclination to selecting and nurturing talent and building culture within an F&B department * Very strong analytical, financial, and project coordination skills * Strong knowledge of banqueting, fine dining, and beverage operations We are delighted to receive your resume for further consideration.
