Boeing's Human Resources organization is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support our Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Engineering organization based in El Segundo, California. In this role, you will directly support multiple executive leaders and over 1,000 employees across the US. Additionally, you will lead a team of eight talented HR professionals. As the lead HRBP, you will collaborate with senior leaders, managers, and individual contributors within SI&WS Engineering. Our HR community is comprised of exceptional and diverse professionals who find fulfillment in solving organizational challenges through strategic partnerships with business leaders. You will drive business results by implementing data-driven strategies and providing effective consultation. Moreover, you will serve as a cultural steward, leading by example. Position Responsibilities: * Collaborate closely with SI&WS Engineering leadership to develop Talent Strategies that align with Business Strategies * Develop and deploy integrated Human Resources services, processes and data analytics that drive business results for the SI&WS Engineering organization, including: * Talent acquisition - staffing strategies and action plans * Engagement, development and retention initiatives * Performance management and compensation * Succession Planning and pipeline development * Consultation on a range of HR-related deliverables * Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization * Provide workforce analytics, trends, and consultation to enable informed, data-driven business decisions * Build strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership, HR colleagues, and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) based on trust, credibility, expertise, and business acumen * Partner closely with SI&WS Engineering LT and other key stakeholders to develop a deep, diverse talent pipeline of current and future leaders * Ensure the quality and timely delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources and centers of excellence as needed * Coach all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture-to-performance outcomes * Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery The ideal candidate will possess the following experiences/competencies: * Strategic Alignment: Ability to develop HR strategies and action plans that align with business needs * Workforce Analytics: Proficient in creating and presenting data-driven HR solutions to senior leaders * Relationship Management: Proven track record of establishing strong relationships through trust, credibility, expertise, and business acumen * Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with Center of Excellence (CoE) partners to develop, facilitate, and implement programs and policies that support the needs of the business * Adaptability: Demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments * Consultation: Act as a consultant on HR-related issues, providing guidance and recommendations; offer coaching and counseling at all levels in the organization * Talent Acquisition: Experience in developing staffing strategies and action plans to attract critical skills * Performance Management: Ability to provide effective consultation and diplomacy to drive high individual and organizational performance * Project Management: Proficient in applying project management skills to high-value initiatives * Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring HR teammates * Courage: Willing to take an unpopular position in pursuit of optimal business outcomes This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. However, we operate in a professional, flexible environment that allows occasional virtual work when possible. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * 5+ years of experience implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes * 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement talent strategies that meet organization strategies * 5+ years of experience executing HR action plans and managing HR projects * 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior business/functional leaders * 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Advanced degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field * Human Resources certification(s) * Active US Top Secret Clearance * HR experience in aerospace and/or defense industry * Experience navigating a matrixed organization Typical Education & Experience: Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. Relocation: Relocation assistance is available for this position. Shift Work: This position is for 1st shift. 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
