Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geology, Chemistry, Hydrogeology, Biology, or related field. One year of experience in groundwater modeling or monitoring groundwater restoration is required. Must possess a Driver license. Recruitment Notes Position sits within the Environmental Monitoring and Restoration of the Environmental Resources. Conducts groundwater, surface water and soil sampling for laboratory analysis to determine pollutant concentrations. Coordinates field preparation, sampling events, purchase requests, invoice approvals, and supply/material inventory. Supervises subordinate staff in the field to ensure FDEP SOP adherence. The position involves fieldwork which entails extended stooping and standing for long periods of time in inclement weather as well as heavy lifting.
