Billing Manager - Railcar Repair Pasadena, TX PSC Group is seeking a dynamic leader to manage our railcar billing group, overseeing both processes and personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role involves establishing best practices in billing and collaborating with various teams to streamline operations and resolve discrepancies. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM). With the opportunity to work a hybrid work schedule. Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Overall management of process and people within the railcar billing group. * Review and verification of billing data to ensure accuracy. * Establish and maintain systems and processes for organizing billing records at various stages of processing. * Standardize billing practices and adopt best practices across all sites where possible. * Reconcile billings between PSC systems and customer portals. * Liaise with operations and accounting teams to resolve billing discrepancies. * Collaborate with site personnel, management, and others to ensure timely completion and processing of documentation to support invoicing. * Work with customers to ensure timely resolution to invoice disputes. * Recommend and implement process improvements when necessary to streamline billing process. * Communicate regularly with customers regarding contract terms, billing schedules, and payment statuses. * Provide detailed updates on billing and collections activities to management. * Handle a large volume of paperwork and transactional information related to invoicing. * Manage a large team of billing associates across many locations and geographic areas. * Assist with month-end related billing activities.
