Job Title Postdoctoral Research Associate Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Research Department El Paso Proposed Minimum Salary $5,000.00 monthly Job Location El Paso, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work on research projects under the mentorship Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center at El Paso faculty, particularly Dr. Beth Racine. Responsibilities * Designs, develops, and directs well-defined research with supervision. * Prepares grant proposals and publications. * Provides data analysis expertise to the research team. * Submits abstracts to and presents papers at national scientific meetings. * Seeks consultation from research scientists for specific scientific and administrative issues. * Reviews and summarizes research literature in the areas of public health and applied nutrition. * Oversees and mentors graduate students. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. nutrition, public health). Essential requirements include proficiency in study design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
