Description Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Market Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales and market data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. The Sales & Market Analyst will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that will increase revenue and market share. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Provides quantitative analysis impacting upper management's strategic decisions * Builds statistical models of consumer demand based on internal and syndicated sales data (i.e., supermarket scan data, census data) * Collaborates with Key Account Managers to craft sales pitches for major retail chains * Builds presentations for senior management * Researches, collects, and interprets a wide array data, identifying opportunities for profitable sales growth * Advises senior management on strategic decisions * Develops actionable strategies and tactics for increasing sales and distribution * Relates conclusions from complex analysis to sales managers at all levels * Manages investigative analytical projects, introducing quantitative analysis to innovate and streamline existing processes * Provides day-to-day analytical support for managers in the sales and marketing departments * Research industry trends and introduces new information into sales processes and strategic decisions * Ability to apply statistical concepts to formulate insights * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred * Sales experience preferred * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills * Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills * Intermediate computer knowledge in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point * Must have a smart phone with a camera and data capability Physical Requirements: * Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus) * Performs light to medium work exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects * This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary Working Conditions: * This job operates in a professional office environment.
