Job Details PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for independently managing the recruitment lifecycle for physician, APC and other clinical, licensed professionals. Independently removes barriers, negotiates and drives the recruit to closure. Helps design and execute innovate candidate sourcing strategies to ensure diverse highly qualified candidate pools. Identifies conflict and areas of opportunity and proactively works to resolve appropriately. Identifies gaps and challenges and proactively reaches out to HR Centers of Excellence to work collaboratively to improve. Builds partnerships with HR Centers of Excellence, operations leaders, candidates and other stakeholders is a critical focus. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for independently managing the recruitment lifecycle for physician, APC and other clinical licensed professional level positions.. Conducts pre-recruit intake meetings with hiring managers to establish position requirements, candidate profile and sourcing plans. Attends staff meetings and/or tours facilities as needed to gain an understanding of a department and position. Crafts job posting text that is designed to attract top talent; reviews on an ongoing basis and adjusts as necessary to develop a robust diverse pipeline. Proactively builds candidate pipeline to recruit top talent, reduce time to fill and reduce need for contingency fees. Cold calls potential candidates for targeted position openings; converts interested candidates into active candidates. Actively participates in social networking. Partners with hiring managers and business leaders to ensure consistency and integrity in the recruitment process and sound hiring decisions. Reviews job specifications identifies critical components of each role and develops behavioral based interview questions specific to the position to identify qualified candidates. Conducts effective screening of candidates. Utilizes behavior interviewing techniques and asks insightful questions to accurately assess qualifications and viability of candidates, generates summary introduction to support efficient and effective referral to hiring managers. Participates in the planning and execution of successful candidate virtual and in person site visits. Anticipates and solves for potential problems and adds enhancements as needed to improve the candidate's overall experience. Manages execution of employee value proposition for each role, and organization-wide branding programs. Writes and delivers recruitment related information sessions to leaders, candidates and students as requested. Serves as recruitment resource for assigned roles. Makes hiring recommendations supported by facts and engages hiring managers in discussion to exercise influence to ensure that sound/defensible hiring decisions are executed. Works collaboratively with compensation, hiring managers and finance leaders to develop appropriate job offers. Effectively negotiates job offers and terms of contracts if applicable. Performs all administrative work in workday. Maintains accurate records to ensure appropriate requisition tracking to support AAP activity, compliance, and proper defense of hiring decisions. Adheres to recruitment, as well as overall CCHS, policy and procedure. Audits and reviews workflow within assigned customer base to insure accurate, timely processing of new hires. Demonstrates a commitment to personal professional development. Leads and participates in department continuous improvement efforts to achieve efficiencies, better outcomes, improved customer and candidate experience and lower costs Provides direction to TA Specialists and Associate TA Specialists as needed; develops and trains new team hires. Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices. Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violation that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors. Performs other related duties as required. SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS: Frequent contact with internal and external candidates, department clinical and operations leaders and administrative assistants, team colleagues and Human Resources staff, centers of excellence, vendor representatives, legal, credentialing and other ChristianaCare staff. DIRECTION/SUPERVISION OF OTHERS: None DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director, Provider and Medical Group Recruitment EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience in the recruitment of physicians, providers, or leadership positions within a healthcare setting is required. A bachelor's degree with four years of demonstrated experience in building and executing targeted recruitment strategies, innovative sourcing plans, effective candidate screenings, as well as comprehensive understanding and experience of the full recruitment life cycle within a complex, multifaceted organization, is required. Eight years of successful full cycle, high volume, multi-level provider recruitment work experience, that includes physician positions may be substituted for education requirements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Experience managing all level positions up to and including physician positions. Ability to work independently. Experience managing highly competitive positions and working with candidates who are entertaining multiple offers. Ability to develop and execute innovative and comprehensive sourcing strategies. Ability to analyze jobs and candidate background to identify and screen for qualified applicants. Excellent knowledge and experience in behavioral interviewing techniques; experience designing interview questions specific to the position. Ability to effectively influence hiring managers in determining job offers, negotiate salary offers, and influence candidates to accept offers. Knowledge of vendor contracts; experience negotiating contracts with temp, contingency and perm placement agencies. Demonstrated leadership experience to include providing direction to others and training new hires. Ability to relate well to a variety of individuals across the organization. Builds appropriate rapport and effective relationships. Uses diplomacy and tact to handle difficult situations. Ability to diffuse situations effectively and appropriately. Ability to identify possible issues even before they arise, consider possible solutions and resolves issues independently. Tracks trends and initiates making changes as necessary to improve process and outcomes. Ability to influence hiring managers to make hiring decisions that support diversity goals and equal and fair treatment and opportunity. Understands the laws that govern talent acquisition and diversity and applies those appropriately. Knowledge of Human Resources Management principles and procedures. Knowledge of recruitment procedures, practices, and legal requirements including FLAS, EEO, AA, E-Verify, etc. Experience providing very high touch customer service for candidates and hiring manager. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate recruitment programs. Ability to independently adjust workflows based on level of position, candidate pool and hiring manager. Ability to elicit appropriate information through employment interviews and candidate conversations. Ability to maintain confidential information and materials. Ability to exercise judgment, tact, and diplomacy. Skilled in oral and written communication. Experience in public speaking. Skilled in cold calling candidates. Experience tailoring and communicating the value proposition of an organization, job and area to live to candidates verbally and in job ads/email blasts. Skilled in time management and prioritizing in multi-task, high volume work setting. Skilled in using Microsoft programs; experience using an application tracking system. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent sitting for extended periods with intermittent standing, walking. Extended standing during career events and/or medical conferences which require exhibiting. Some lifting, carrying of boxes, pushing and pulling.
