In this role, you will work under the general supervisor of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include: * Applying ionizing radiation according to MD's prescription * Patient scheduling and appointments * Performing dose calculations and basic nursing duties * Treatment data entry * Working with physicians, physicists and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CT's Salary: $66.04 - $87.12 hourly Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility * Required: * ARRT License * CRT License * 5 or more years radiation therapy experience * BLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross * Skill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may exist * Truebeam, Tomotherapy, Novalis, CT and MR guided RT experience * Ability to lift cerrobend blocks weighing up to 35 pounds. * Working knowledge of University procedures regarding isolation of immuno-suppressed patients. * Knowledge of the principles and applications of thermo-luminescent dosimeters. * Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are changes in workload, machine breakdowns, heavy patient volume and emergency cases. * Skill in inspecting treatment machines to assure they conform to present standards. * Skill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may exist. Preferred: * Aria and Epic experience
