About this role The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is seeking multiple Lead Communications Consultants who will be responsible for executive, internal, and external communications for executive leaders within CTO. You will be the central communications contact for sub-business lines and coordinate across CTO functions with accountabilities that include developing and implementing communications strategies, developing communications plans, writing and editing technical communications, connecting internal partners and key stakeholders, and enhancing employee engagement. CTO supports and delivers enterprise infrastructure and tech for tech services that enable Wells Fargo customers globally. The group is responsible for enterprise-wide services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, developer experience tools, centralized technology governance and controls, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure. In this role, you will * Serve as a trusted communications advisor and strategic counselor to executive leadership * Develop and implement communications strategies to promote and protect Wells Fargo's reputation in alignment with business objectives * Activate communications strategy through strategic and tactical leadership, product, technical, and operational communications through a variety of channels * Advise leadership on communications strategy to drive business priorities, and support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion * Partner with other Communications employees and Wells Fargo Technology teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging * Partner closely with other communicators to identify connection points and leverage best practices Required Qualifications * 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education * 2+ years of experience supporting communications related to financial services technology * 2+ years of experience leveraging subject matter expertise to translate complex technology topics into broadly digestible narratives Desired Qualifications * Experience and comfort building relationships with technical subject matter experts * Experience developing integrated communications strategies and plans for leaders * Experience counselling leaders on communication issues and the delivery of internal communications * Experience in crisis communications and issues management * Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling * Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, enhances understanding at all levels * Advanced writing and editing skills * Cloud Certification with a major cloud computing platform (Ex: GCP or Azure) or willingness to obtain * Proven track record as a strategic communications advisor to Technology leadership * Self-starter with the ability to pitch, execute, and own end-to-end communications strategies for leaders Job Expectations * This position offers a hybrid work schedule * This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
