RESPONSIBILITIES: * Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for inspection and testing methods, techniques, and equipment * Share and standardize best practices and processes * Develop and administer standard work practices and employee training * Establish new quality processes to eliminate waste and streamline flow using lean methodologies * Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes * Use statistical methods to establish sampling plans, determine process capability, implement control charts, and improve gage performance * Perform audits in support of the quality system which will include internal, process and product audits * Assist in responding to customer concerns and resolutions through RGAs and corrective actions COMPETENCIES: * Bachelors Degree required with a preference in Engineering * Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar Quality role in a manufacturing environment * Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred * ASQ CQE Certification preferred * Knowledge of ISO 9001 certification regulations required * Experience with SPC data analysis, problem solving and lean methodologies * Capable of working under minimal supervision while directing activities of other associates as necessary * Ability to work in a team-based culture, interacting and effectively communicating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain departments * Must be highly motivated with good organizational and analytical/technical problem solving skills * Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
