About the Team: TikTok is a platform rooted in creativity and has played a critical role in enabling positive creative expression with our global community of users & creators. We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader with a track record of bringing campaigns and products to market to lead our key Global Responsibility Marketing organization with a focus on Trust & Safety. This is a critical role that requires strong partnerships with cross-functional and regional teams to accelerate adoption and increase understanding of the key TikTok product verticals of Trust, Safety, Privacy and Wellbeing, across audiences and countries. This marketing leader will manage and grow a high performing team of product marketers to drive globally consistent product launch strategies and prioritization, while also spearheading locally customized positioning, messaging and creatives. This leader will also grow org capabilities and execution across competitive strategy, user insights, measurement and regional storytelling.
The Global Head of Trust & Safety Marketing is a unique, multi-faceted leadership role. It will help us scale the global product marketing function at pace with our rapidly growing global platform and inspire users everywhere to unlock their creativity. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of functional product marketing expertise along with a proven track record of close partnership with product managers, and growing and leading marketing teams in organizations of various stages of maturity. Experience in brand safety narratives and campaigns, trust and safety marketing, and reputation building story-telling and product marketing will be a plus. At TikTok, we believe that when people feel safe, their creativity can flourish, making our global Trust & Safety product marketing vertical a high priority. This role will play a key role in influencing TikTok products, policies, and communications related to user & platform safety, data privacy, and more.
- Lead and grow a high-performing product marketing team across multiple countries, to drive global strategies and localized execution - Be the voice of Product to Marketing, and the voice of Marketing to Product: drive alignment across product and business teams for the purpose of unifying our vision and goals for key user audiences in local markets. - Understand and evangelize for the needs of users on TikTok, actively identifying gaps and opportunities to better serve local audiences. - Spearhead global consistency in product marketing launch strategies and execution, including prioritization, messaging hierarchy, product value prop and positioning, and go-to-market plans - Help shape, and promote important Trust and Safety narratives, programs, and product launches globally - In collaboration with cross-functional teams, execute Trust & Safety product marketing roadmaps, set measure-able results, own user & competitive insights, shape product & external messaging, and execute across channels. - Work cross-functionally to improve the visibility of Trust & Safety and product marketing efforts; developing a continuous flow of communication among relevant teams. - Develop product marketing strategies, narratives and campaigns to be locally relevant and customized, as well as build local go-to-market strategies & measurement plans that support key adoption & awareness goals ; drive localized creative development, user targeting and channel strategies - Manage high-priority, fast moving decisions and communications regarding our product and go-to-market strategy - Partner closely with leaders in product, marketing, PR, public policy, operations, strategy and finance to ensure seamless cross-functional coordination. Be the glue between teams and our users.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Extensive marketing experience at mobile/tech/consumer products used by millions, ideally in product marketing, with more recent experience related to Trust & Safety or Responsibility marketing - Experience influencing at various levels within an organization, especially product, engineering and/or technical teams - Experience in brand safety narratives and campaigns, trust and safety marketing, and reputation building story-telling and product marketing - Experience conceptualizing, planning and launching Trust & Safety marketing campaigns, and driving awareness & adoption of new products and services; owning and achieving key performance indicators - Experience leading and mentoring a diverse team across countries
Preferred Qualifications: - Comfortable working in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment within a complex, matrixed organization - Passionate about TikTok and our mission - Charismatic, compelling speaker and strong oral & written communication skills for internal and external forums
