Our client, Purpose Brand, is an award-winning, full-service agency in Chicago specializing in public relations, brand strategy and digital content marketing. We're dedicated to making brands relevant and communities stronger by putting purpose into practice. Our comprehensive services include media and public relations, brand strategy, content creation, web design and development, content strategy, special events, video marketing and training. We're seeking a driven, creative media relations coordinator to join our team and deliver outstanding results for our clients. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative media strategies across various verticals. Create unique pitch angles that secure coverage in Tier 1, local, national and trade media outlets. Build and maintain strong relationships with media. Present strategic media recommendations to clients. Conduct media research and maintain up-to-date media lists. Provide media coaching to executives, preparing them for interviews and public speaking engagements. Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in PR, journalism or related field, with 3-5 years of experience. Experience or knowledge in healthcare, commercial real estate or real estate financing is a plus. Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills. Broad knowledge of media landscape. Proficient with or ability to quickly learn Slack, Google Workspace, and various PR platforms (e.g., Critical Mention, Cision, BuzzSumo, BuzzStream etc.). Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work both independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to pitch in on projects outside of immediate job responsibilities. What We Offer:
