As part of the Global Compressors Supplier Quality Assurance organization, the employee will be, as an electronics specialist, responsible for approving E/E component sourcing on behalf of the Quality department and the respective preventive quality planning. The selected candidate will have frequent contact to the Purchasing and Engineering departments. The employee will oversee the development of awarded suppliers to the adequate level of conformity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

Approve supplier sourcing nomination for new projects in the name of quality Manage on time APQP (Advanced Project Quality Planning) for projects in development (PDP) Ensure on time PPAP (production parts approval process) activities for projects in development (PDP) Auditing supplier manufacturing capability (VDA 6.3) and conducting Run@Rate at supplier location Manage supplier escalations within the supplier quality organization Communicate and interface within the supplier quality organization

QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering degree (mechatronic, electrical, electronics, industrial or similar) No less than 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry (no less than 2 years in Quality preferred) In-depth knowledge of the methodology for the standardized assurance of the quality and reliability of E/E products and components (IPC A series , AEC Qxx - series, Functional Safety ISO 26262 (HIL/SIL), Automotive Spice, as well as the HV specifications) Solid understanding (process engineering experience preferred) of manufacturing processes for PCBA (electric/electronic assemblies) VDA 6.3 certification is preferred Full knowledge on Automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, R&R, GDT) preferred Desirable to have Six Sigma training (Green Belt) Basic IT Tools (MS Suite) Availability to travel into supplier manufacturing locations
