360 Orthodontics is looking for an Associate Orthodontist (1099 Contractor).

Schedule: Wednesdays(4), Fridays(4), Saturdays(3)

Desired Start Date: Available Immediately Closed all major holidays.

Experience:

Qualified candidates are desired to have at least 1 year of experience in the private practice sector, an engaging personality, and a team-player attitude. Newly graduated Orthodontists are also welcome to apply with the understanding that base compensation will be adjusted relative to experience level.

Duties will include:

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning using Pan, Ceph, Photos and visual examination.

Orthodontic clinical skills (including but not limited to): Fit dental appliances in patients' mouths to alter the position and relationship of teeth and jaws or to align teeth (including but not limited to: Traditional Brackets, Band placement/removal, Invisalign, RPE’s, RPHG, Elastics, bonded retainers, etc.).

Adjust dental appliances to produce and maintain normal function.

Adjust dental devices or appliances to ensure fit.

Debond and glue removal.

Instruct dental assistants in orthodontic procedures and techniques.

Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.

Always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.

Maintain regular attendance and adhere to treatment schedules.

Able to work both independently and in team settings.

Willing to participate in clinical meetings, new patient team meetings, leadership meetings, doctor meetings, full staff meetings, and provide feedback on departmental growth/performance.

Willing to read leadership and team building books to help contribute to the betterment of the practice.

Work under the direction of the practice manager, along with helping with treatment conversions and case acceptance.

Communicate with lead doctor about clinical treatment decisions.

Requirements:

Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD).

Certificate in Orthodontics from an accredited residency and California board credentials in good standing.

Must carry Malpractice Insurance in the State of California.
