Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Purchases goods and services according to the company

s policies and procedures. Lead, develop, train and mentor a team of buying professionals. Issuance, review and approval of compliant purchase orders. Works with vendors to negotiate the best price, value and terms. Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records. Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Expertise Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
