As a Product & Visual Designer on the Design Systems team at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our design system across our suite of products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure consistency, usability, accessibility, and delightful user experiences across Salesforce applications. You'll help shape the North Star vision of our design system with a focus on UI elements such as components, page layouts, illustrations, icons, and data visualization. You'll get to work on a world-class team with some of the brightest minds in the industry and will have fun while doing it! Responsibilities Contribute to the creation of our next-gen design system, new UI, and Figma libraries that scale across Salesforce products
Focus on visual design aspects of the design system such as designing reusable icons, illustrations, and data visualizations
Ensure all visual designs align with Salesforce's brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of quality and consistency
Define and document design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure cohesive experiences
Collaborate with product managers, designers, writers, and engineers to integrate the design system into product development workflows
Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity within the design system to ensure all users have a seamless experience
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design systems
Experience / Skills required Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on visual design, design systems, and UX/UI design
Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, visual design skills, and experience with design systems
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, typography, color theory, and layout
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale
Experience with accessibility standards and best practices in design
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
Ability to collaborate on a team that works around the world in various time zones
Self-motivated, a good communicator, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
Nice to Have: Experience with animation using Figma and After Effects
Experience with graphic design and print design
Experience creating data visualizations
Experience with CRM or enterprise software
Experience with design systems
Experience with HTML/CSS
Experience conducting User Research
Experience working with and presenting to customers
