The Caviar Co. is looking to hire an experienced Shipping and Fulfillment Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our fulfillment department, streamlining our fulfillment processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of all orders to our customers, in line with The Caviar Co.’s highest standards.

Who you are:

You are passionate about building systems that streamline operations, reduce errors, and improve overall productivity. Your expertise in logistics is complemented by a deep understanding of tools that optimize shipping and inventory processes—especially ShipStation, which you’ve mastered to make it a seamless part of day-to-day operations. You have an eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to solving challenges before they arise.

Role Overview:

Manage all incoming orders using ShipStation, Quickbooks, and Shopify. Keep Wholesale and Retail teams updated with changes, special order products, or other urgencies.

Monitor all orders from packing to final delivery while adhering to packing SOPs and managing UPS, FedEx, and our internal delivery service.

Collaborate closely with Wholesale Sales and Retail Store Managers to proactively identify and address any packaging or delivery issues.

Maintain all shipping inventory and pars by completing weekly and monthly inventories.

Preparing weekly, monthly, and bi-annual department orders.

Maintain all caviar and perishable inventory and prepare POs to fulfill weekly orders.

Maintain and organize the shipping and receiving floor, keeping all shipping supplies stocked and ready for fulfillment.

Manage a team of 2 - 4 part-time and seasonal employees, including delivery drivers and shipping support.

Oversee and manage local residential and wholesale delivery routes.

Assess our current systems, contracts, and purchasing to reduce costs and streamline our practices.

Work with the CEO and General Manager on strategies to build and grow our fulfillment program.

Responsible for department reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in shipping, fulfillment, or warehouse operations.

Must have in-depth knowledge of ShipStation or a similar shipping software.

Experience with Shopify+.

Proficient in Google Suite with strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.

Proficient in Quickbooks, specifically invoicing and inventory management.

Strong communication skills and track record of successfully leading projects from planning to execution.

Highly analytical self starter able to quickly problem solve.

Proven experience in growing and leading a team through new systems.

Proven ability to manage and streamline logistics in a shipping environment.

Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and own means of transportation.

Must be available to work occasional weekends and some holidays

Eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship

Must be able to work standing on your feet for at least 8 hours per day

Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full time in person salaried position. The Caviar Co. offers Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits along with a flexible PTO policy. A 401k option with employer matching is available after 1 year of service. All employees also receive a discount on caviar and champagne.
