The hiring company is a research and consulting institute base in Mineola, NY. They are dedicated to providing entrepreneurs with systematic training services in legal, tax, finance, insurance, human resources and other professionals areas, with a combination of US state and local policies for Chinese enterprises.

Job Summary The Training and Development Coordinator will assist in planning professional meetings and training events.

Responsibilities

Meet with event organizers to understand objectives and requirements, to plan scope and format of events, to establish and monitor budgets, or to review administrative procedures and event progress Plan and develop programs, agendas, budgets, and services according to client requirements Research published and online sources to analyze and evaluate area-specific information, such as points of interests, restaurants, accommodations, etc. Supports marketing and sales of associated events and training programs Evaluate and select providers of services according to client requirements Facilitate negotiation of contracts with service providers and suppliers, such as hotels, convention centers, and speakers Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to client requirements Confer with staff at event site to coordinate details Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security, etc. Review event bills for accuracy, and approves payment Maintain records of events, including financial details Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both

English and Mandarin Coordination and time management Comfortable in representing the company in networking events Service-orientation A team player Judgment and decision-making Negotiation and persuasion Willingness to travel Employment Type

Contracted to Full-Time or Full-Time depends on qualifications Sponsorship

Negotiable Work Schedule

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
