Description We are in search of an Assistant Controller to join our team located in Austin, Texas. This role will involve assisting with the preparation of financial statements, managing budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also be expected to support internal and external audits and assist with payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.

- Support the management of budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

- Assist with payroll processing and financial data reconciliation.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

- Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management.

- Handle billing, accounts payable and receivable, and other accounting functions. Requirements - Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

- Familiar with ADP - Financial Services

- Experienced with Concur

- Skilled in using Crystal Reports

- Knowledge of DCAA

- Able to perform Accounting Functions

- Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Able to conduct Auditing

- Experienced in Billing Functions

- Must have a valid work authorization

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

- CPA certification is preferred

- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
