Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business. Leidos is searching for a qualified candidate to join our DISA JSP ETM team as the Cable Technician Lead. The successful candidate will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA. Primary Responsibilities: * Use network cabling test equipment including network testers, copper cable testers, fiber Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDRs) and fiber power meters. * Analyze, administer, and maintain telecommunications and network cabling infrastructure. * Dress, terminate and test cables and components * Ability to work with power tools and ladders * Test, locate, install, and repair cabling infrastructure associated with trouble calls, and perform routine maintenance * Install, maintain, and repair voice and data communications systems * Identify, track, and remove abandoned cable, and keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards * Communicate effectively across team of varying experience levels and with customer leadership Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. * Demonstrated experience in telecommunications * Cable Technician experience within the DoD * Certification in Fiber Optic Cable and CAT6 Cable Installation * Active Secret Clearance * Familiarity with BICSI rules, regulations, and standards. * Ability to analyze and solve problems, with keen attention to detail Original Posting Date: 2024-08-30 While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
