- Part-time position(s) Part-time student position(s) working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Math and Science. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study, learning to enhance academic success and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and NASNTI-STEM program staff. Qualifications include: A grade of "B" or better in any course for which tutoring will be provided and enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College is preferred, though students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered.
